Sanderling
Waldorf School does not offer tuition
assistance for Nursery/Kindergarten
programs.
Tuition assistance for Grades
programs may be available through Sanderling Waldorf School. We believe
that Waldorf education should be available to families of all economic
levels. We also believe that both the school and these families need to
stretch their respective budgets to help make this a
possibility.
Sanderling Waldorf School is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. In order
to achieve financial stability while continuing to offer a full Waldorf
curriculum and programs, the school cannot accommodate every request
for tuition assistance.
Students must apply
and be
officially accepted to the
Sanderling Waldorf School Grades program before a family may begin the
tuition-assistance application process.
TUITION
ASSISTANCE APPLICATION PROCESS
1.
Following acceptance into the school, the family provides
financial information to TADS, a third-party tuition-assistance
organization contracted with Sanderling Waldorf School.
2.
TADS calculates a suggested amount for the family to contribute toward
their child's private school education and provides this information to
Sanderling Waldorf School.
3.
Sanderling Waldorf School's Board
of Directors
determines how much of the tuition assistance recommended by TADS, if
any, can be provided to the family. This decision is based primarily on
our budget for assistance and the amount of assistance that other
families may be requesting.
4.
The school notifies the family
of the decision.
Confidentiality
When you
request tuition
assistance, only the Enrollment Director, Administrator and the
Treasurer are aware of
your request. The Treasurer and Tuition Assistance Committee are the
only people who see your financial
report from TADS. When the Treasurer presents the request for
tuition assistance for Board decision, the identity of the family is
not shared - only the amount of assistance recommended by TADS. If you

The
website assists you through
the application process and ensures that your application is complete
and accurate.
When
approved, tuition assistance is in effect for
a period of one school year. Enrolled families who receive tuition
assistance, and wish to be considered to receive tuition assistance the
following year, must re-apply for tuition assistance each
spring.
Please do not
fill out the TADS application if your child has not already been
accepted for admission to SWS. The school will not be able to
take your
tuition assistance application into consideration unless you have first
gone through the proper enrollment channels.
